Biaggio Ali Walsh, grandson of legendary boxer Muhammad Ali, moved to a 6-1 amateur record in mixed martial arts with a vicious knockout of Joel Lopez on Friday at the 2023 PFL World Championship. He dedicated the KO to Palestine and those affected by the Israel-Hamas war.

Ali Walsh, 25, is ready to become a professional mixed martial arts fighter after a 1-1 amateur start turned to six straight wins by KO and remains undefeated since joining the Professional Fighters League (PFL).

During his postfight interview, Ali Walsh said he fought and won in honor of the victims in Palestine, which drew a loud cheer from the crowd.

He also took the time to address the fact that MMA fans want him to fight professionally as soon as 2024.

When will Biaggio Ali Walsh turn pro?

"There's so much going on in my mind right now," Ali Walsh said. "I'm still an amateur so I'm still getting used to just everything. To get this kind of experience as an amateur is insane.

"I'm super blessed and grateful. I don't know, I'll sit down with my coach and see what happens. But I'll definitely announce soon, so everybody will know."

His brother, Nico Ali Walsh, is a professional boxer and recently suffered his first defeat via a controversial split decision.
