According to a new book by controversial author Omid Scobie, Kate Middleton reportedly "jokingly shivers" whenever Meghan Markle's name is mentioned. The book, titled "Endgame," also describes Middleton as "cold" and highlights the lack of communication between the two since late 2019. This lack of communication was evident even before Prince Harry and Meghan officially left Britain in 2020 during the dramatic "Megxit" split.

If Harry and Meghan are hoping to reconcile with the royal family, this book will not help their cause. A palace source told Page Six: "Harry and Meghan are meant to be on their reconciliation tour." However, Scobie alleges that Middleton believes there is no going back in her relationship with Harry and Markle.

The book claims that Middleton was close to Harry and cherished the moments they shared, as well as the relationship he had with their children. However, she finds it impossible to trust them after their numerous interviews. A source close to the family reveals in the book, "She can be cold if she doesn't like someone...She was never a fan of Markle."

Scobie, who is considered an ally of the Sussexes, also shares details about Middleton's efforts to become more like Queen Elizabeth. He alleges that she has taken elocution lessons to refine her speech and project a more polished and regal image.

The controversial book is out now

The book suggests that Middleton and Markle could have bonded as outsiders within the palace, given the disintegrating relationship between Prince William and Harry. However, Middleton did not offer any support to Markle when she joined the royal family.

This lack of support is exemplified by the ongoing dispute over who made whom cry over Princess Charlotte's bridesmaid dress for Harry and Markle's wedding. While reports in the UK claimed that Markle made Middleton cry, Markle told Oprah Winfrey that it was the other way around.

Scobie's book is likely to be as controversial as his previous work, "Finding Freedom." The Sussexs have distanced themselves from this new book, emphasizing that they had no involvement in its creation. Despite this, speculation about its content continues to circulate.
