Fans mock Tony Romo after reaction to Dolly Parton performance: Dolly is hotter than Taylor Swift

Tony Romo, part of the CBS team covering the Dallas Cowboys' Thanksgiving game, witnessed Dolly Parton's captivating halftime show, where she wore a bedazzled Cowboys cheerleader uniform.

Performing hits such as 'Jolene,' '9 to 5,' and a cover of Queen's 'We Are the Champions,' Parton's appearance, celebrating her new album 'Rockstar,' garnered attention.

Romo's seemingly enthusiastic on-air reaction became the subject of fan trolling on social media platform X.

"She was wearing the Cowboys cheerleading outfit," Romo told Jim Nantz in the booth.

"You saw that coming, didn't you? You said, 'I think she's going to go with a liiiittle cheerleading outfit tonight', and I was like, 'wow, pretty good.'

"I mean, she looks amazing, right? She's wonderful. Who doesn't like Dolly Parton?"

Following his remarks, fans took to social media where they did not hesitate to troll Romo.

"Romo is ALL IN on Dolly Parton," a user wrote.

Another added: "Tony Romo's wife gonna whoop his ass when he gets home."

Cowboys secured a solid victory

Despite the chatter, the Cowboys made their fans proud with a dominant 45-10 win over the Washington Commanders.

Quarterback Dak Prescott delivered an outstanding performance, recording 331 yards, four touchdowns, and no interceptions, resulting in a season-high passer rating of 142.1.

Running back Tony Pollard contributed with 79 yards rushing and one touchdown, boasting the season's highest yards per carry at 6.1.
