Football star Mario Balotelli had a lucky escape after a harrowing car crash involving his Audi Q8 in his hometown of Brescia in Italy..

The incident occurred at 8.30 pm on Thursday, and while no other parties were involved, it's reported that Balotelli refused to take a breathalyser test after the crash.

According to sources, the former Manchester City striker lost control of his vehicle, crashing it into a wall, causing the airbags to deploy.

Despite the impact, Balotelli managed to exit the wreckage and received immediate attention from paramedics.

Balotelli didn't need to go to the hospital

Local authorities attempted to administer a breathalyser test, but the Italian international declined, resulting in the confiscation of his driving licence.

Balotelli's brother, Enock Barwuah, arrived at the scene after returning from football training, taking Balotelli home.

The incident comes shortly after Balotelli's return to Turkish Super Lig side Adana Demirspor, where he has made an impressive impact with three goals in five games.

Balotelli, known for his controversial moments both on and off the pitch, has had a storied career with stints at top clubs, including Manchester City, AC Milan, Liverpool, and Marseille.

This incident is the latest in a series of off-field incidents involving Balotelli, who recently advocated for his return to the Italian national team.

Despite his tumultuous past, the footballer is currently focused on his performance with Adana Demirspor, showcasing an impressive scoring rate since joining the club in September.
