LSU junior basketball star, Angel Reese, who has recently been at the center of controversy for being benched and not suiting up for two consecutive games, shared a note and drawing from a fan on her Instagram Story.

The note expressed the fan's support and urged Reese to come back to the games. Reese acknowledged the gesture, captioning the image with "I love my neighbors."

"Dear Angel I'm your biggest fan please come back to the games," the note read.

The reason for Reese's absence from the lineup has not been directly addressed by LSU coach Kim Mulkey, who pushed back on questions from reporters about the situation.

"If I had I wouldn't tell you. You're not entitled to that information," Mulkey said.

"So I'll say it again, Angel was not in uniform tonight. Angel is a part of this basketball team and Angel will be back sooner than later."

Solid start to the campaign

Reese had a strong start to the season statistically, averaging a double-double with 17 points and 10.3 rebounds per game.

However, her playing time has decreased significantly compared to the previous year. Reese posted on social media, asking people not to believe everything they read.

The upcoming games for LSU are against Niagara on Friday and Virginia on Saturday, but it remains uncertain if Reese will be in the lineup for either game.
